Imagining History

What We Do:

Imagining History provides award-winning, educational, history workshops for primary schools that captivate and entertain. Our interactive sessions combine role-play, storytelling, demonstrations and drama and performance to bring history to life for your students.

Each of our extensively researched workshop themes, such as the Stone Age and Ancient Egypt, incorporate on-your-feet activities and high energy performance, allowing every single student to be involved and learn through doing.

Our Team:

Based in Lancaster, the Imagining History team of practitioners have over 10 years of experience working within the education sector and delivering outstanding workshops to primary schools all over the country.

We recently won awards for Educational Workshop Provider of the Year (2022-23) and History Educational Workshop of the Year (2020-2021) for Manchester & the North West from Cultural LiveWire Prestige Awards.

All of our practitioners are DBS checked and we provide full risk assessments for all our workshops upon request.

Prices:

Prices start at £120 a session.

We bring our workshops to schools all over the North West of England and ensure that our workshops offer excellent value for money. Most of our Keystage 2 workshop themes come as both half-day or full-day sessions. Alternatively, we can run two different themes in one day, allowing us to cater for any budget.
